Stanisław Fabijański was born in 1865 and died in 1947. In 1880, he began studying at a private sculpture studio of Leonard Marconi in Lviv. In the years 1883-1888 he studied at the School of Fine Arts in Krakow in the studios of Władysław Łuszczkiewicz, Florian Cynek and Jan Matejko.
