Valentin COREACHIN / painter, graphic artist, Master of Arts /

He was born on November 15, 1933 in the town of Talmenka in the Altai region of Russia. Since 1949 he lives and works in the city of Chisinau.

In 1958 he graduated from the Republican School of Fine Arts "IVRepin" (currently, "Al. Plămădeală" College of Fine Arts) 1966 - State Institute of Art and Theater in Minsk, Belarus. Diploma thesis - Scenography of Vasile Alexandri's ballads.

1969 - member of the Union of Fine Artists of the USSR and the Republic of Moldova.

Since 1966 - participant in all republican exhibitions, union and international creative camps in the Far East (Kamchatka, Sakhalin, Kurile Islands - 1971, 1978), Central Asia (1972, 1988), (Kola Peninsula - 1975, 1981), Crimea (1974), Romania (1976,1992,1997), Poland (1979), Hungary (1985), Bulgaria (1985, 1994).

His works have been exhibited in exhibitions in: Romania (1976), Poland (1979), Congo, Switzerland (1981), Hungary, Finland (1981, 1987), Austria (1982, 1990), Damascus (1983) Denmark (1985) ), Iraq (1986), France, Czechoslovakia, Mongolia, Ghana (1987), Bulgaria (1987, 1994), Portugal, Cyprus, Germany (1988), Republic of Moldova, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia, Baltic States.

His works are exhibited in museums in Chisinau, Moscow, Vladivostok, Murmansk, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnoyarsk and other cities in Siberia, Batumi, as well as in Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria and Central Asian countries.

Valentin Coreachin's works are also found in private collections in the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Germany, France, Israel, USA, Canada and Japan.

From 1966 the artist started his pedagogical activity in the Art institutions from Chisinau.

In 1997 Valentin Coreachin was awarded the title of Artist Emeritus of the Republic of Moldova (Master in Art).

Valentin Aleksandrovich Koryakin, graphic artist. Born on November 15, 1933 in the urban-type settlement Talmenka in the Altai Territory, Russia. Since 1949 he has been living and working in the city of Chisinau.

In 1958 he graduated from the Republican Art School named after IV Repin (now - College "A. Plemedale"), and in 1966 - the Belarusian Theater and Art Institute in the city of Minsk. Thesis - decoration of ballads by Vasile Alexandri.

In 1997 V. Koryakin was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Republic of Moldova (Maestru în Artă).
